IMTECH recruits,

2 (Two) Research Associates

5 (Five) Project Assistants (Level-II) &

2 (Two) Project Assistants (Level-I)

on purely temporary basis to work in different R&D Projects in various areas of the biological sciences, such as Protein Science & Engineering, Infectious Diseases & Immunity, Microbial Physiology & Genetics, Biotransformations & Microbiology and Fermentative Science & Process Development.

Apart from the candidate selected in any particular project, a panel will be made, which will be operative for a maximum period of one year from the date of interview or another interview is conducted by the Institute for recruitment of similar positions in future, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification for Research Associate:- Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences preferably with experience in Microbiology/Molecular Biology Techniques.

Remuneration:- Rs.16,000/- Or Rs.17,000/- Or Rs.18,000/- (fixed) depending upon experience.

Essential Qualification for Project Assistant Level-II:- Ist Class M.Sc. in any area of Modern Biology/ LifeSciences/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Biophysics/Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Botany/ Zoology or Ist Class B.E/B.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering or Biotechnology (For Fermentative Science & Process Development only).

Stipend for Project Asstt. (L-II):- Rs.8000/- p.m. (fixed) for DBT/DST Sponsored Projects

Rs.10,000/- p.m. (fixed) for CSIR Networked Projects

Rs.8,325/- p.m. (fixed) for ICMR Sponsored Projects

Desirable:- Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.

Essential Qualification for Project Assistant Level-I:- I^st Class BCA Or Ist Class 3 years Diploma in Office Management/Modern Office Practices.

Stipend for Project Asstt. (L-I):- Rs.7000/- p.m. (fixed)

Age Limit as on 08.07.2008 (on the date of walk-in-interview) :- For Research Associates - Not exceeding 35 years (Relaxable by 5 years in case of Woman candidates) & For Project Assistants - Not exceeding 28 years (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped as per GOI rules for all positions).

Such of the candidates who fulfills the eligibility conditions may please walk in for interview on 08.07.2008 (Tuesday) at 09.30 A.M in the Seminar Hall of this Institute along with complete bio-data & original certificates together with latest passport size photograph and also enclosing photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications etc.
