Essential Qualifications and Experience: Ist class MSc / PhD in Biological Sciences / Biotechnology / Animal Biotechnology with 3 years / 1 year experience respectively in the relevant areas such as development of processes and procedures in areas of transgenics including breeding, microarray in Zebra fish / other fishes, etc.

Essential Qualifications: Ist class BSc in Biological Sciences from a recognized university with Biotechnology as one of the subjects.


Application forms can be had from the Administrative Officer, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Uppal Road, Hyderabad 500 007, on or before 4-8-2008 in person between 3 PM and 5 PM on working days, against application fee of Rs.100/- (non-refundable) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) valid for atleast 3 months, drawn in favour of Director, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, payable at Hyderabad, or by sending a request enclosing prescribed application fee, as stated above, for the issue of an application form, along with a self-addressed envelope of the size of 23X11 cms affixed with postage stamps of Rs.10/-. At the back of the DD, indicate details of name, date of birth, the post applied for and the post code number. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee and they have to submit an attested copy of community certificate while requesting for application form. The application form (5 pages) is also available on CCMB website www.ccmb.res.in, which can be downloaded. Requests for issue of application form received after 4-8-2008 will not be entertained.

Completed applications in all respects, supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience, community certificate, should be sent to the Administrative Officer, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Uppal Road, Hyderabad 500007 so as to reach him on or before 18-8-2008. Candidates downloading application form from CCMB website should submit the application along with a Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (non-refundable) valid for at least 3 months, drawn in favour of Director, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, payable at Hyderabad.

Last date for receipt of filled in applications is 18-8-2008 (22-8-2008 in case of remote areas of North-East States, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands). Applications received after this last date are liable to be rejected.
