Sure, u can join thru' TANCET under OC category.
PSG is the college which is choosen first. So, sure u shd get in top 15 marks.

Wat wish and all? Apply for counseling as soon as the results come.
The place where you got ur tancet entrance form itself can get ur conselling form too..
The cut off for PSG and ANNA univ wl be top 40 marks. As, I mean, there wl be two counselings. One for anna univ campus alone and other colleges around TN.
So, the top 30 wl choose anna univ and in other counseling, first 20 or 30 will opt for PSG only.
So u shd be in top 30 list to be placed in anna univ or PSG.
in tirunelveli, u can get the counseling forms at st. Xavier's college , palayamkottai and government engineering college.

An important announcement. I think counseling forms are being issued for MCA & MBA in ANNA University Campus alone .
Pls all dont apply for tat. There are only few 30-60 seats will be available.
If you think, you wl be one among the top 30 marks of ur category[MCA/MBA], apply for it. Else, apply for the general counseling which includes all colleges under TAMIL NADU.
NOTE: this is my personal advice. If u r interested u apply for this counseling.

My replies for ur queries for u.
1. Results wl be soon announced as they called for ANNA univ counselling, so it may come out soon.
2. General counseling date wl be announced as soon as the results of TANCET come.
3. It wl be same as Engineering counseling. Both MCA/MBA counseling wl be conducted in coimbatore.
4. Fees will differ from college to college. normally the counseling fees wl be from 40000 to 85000 per year depending on the college whereas the management wl be double the counseling amount.
5. there are many in kovai. c my older blog.
6.see 4 for the reply.
7.i already mentioned in the starting of this blog. Anyone can get a seat thru TANCET, More the marks, better the college u get.
Also dude, i too know abt the tension abt the counseling, for tat only reason i am doin g this blog.

It is same the process as u did before for TANCET Exam. Now u wl be applying for TANCET Counseling with some attachments. It is easy process only..
Counseling fee is Rs 300. Obviously it wl be in DD mode only..

Those who going to attend the counseling shd take a DD of 5300 where 300 is for counseling and 5000 towards ur college tution fees which wl be adjusted while u pay ur college fees later after ur counseling.

Nothing wl happen. Proceed with counseling and attend it to. If not got the results soon, can get the money back.

TO ALL THOSE WHO GOT MARKS TODAY, Don't worry too much about the marks.
With your skills, u successfully wrote the test and got your marks. So be happy for what u got. Maybe the marks are higher or lower than u expected. Each mark is a VALID mark.
Now, Be cool, A Seat has been confirmed u now. So, apply for the general counseling. [Those who think who have higher marks, apply for Anna university counseling, GCT counseling etc..]
Sure you are going to be choose a college for you. Just browse what colleges are around you. Keep track through all the colleges. During your counseling, just pick the one you are familiar.
NOTE
If asked marks with others, each one will tell one thing. Never mind the marks. Seat will be given right from the top mark to 0.0 mark too.. For your info, one who has negative score too, will get a seat if seats are available for later counseling too..
Again, ALL THE BEST for ur score. Keep going.
Last but not least, Please enjoy the time from now. After counseling you can't even think of enjoyment. So enjoy the coming days till u go to counseling.

There wl be two counselings. One for Anna univ alone and other for rest of colleges in TN both under Anna univ and Madras Univ colleges.

Ya for big colleges like Anna University, GCT, there will be separate counselings.
So Just verify the cousling which you r going to apply.
But general counseling has not yet been notified..

Rank list will not be released separately by anna univ. When applied to counseling, u wl get the rank of urs for ur score.
For 28 u can apply but am not sure whether u wl get in anna univ or not.
Better apply and attend the counseling.

A common question to all
Can i know are there only Anna Univ, PSG and SSN colleges to do ??
There are more than 240 engg colleges and 150 plus Arts Colleges which give MCA and MBA.
Only the top 30 or 60 can enter Anna Univ campus.
Then in general counseling, students wl opt for PSG and SSN in first session of counseling itself. So for these, 30 plus 30. 60 will go.
So totally, 120 [assume] are there for these 3 colleges.
Therefore, all the students who wrote TANCET [Both MCA and MBA] cant enter into these colleges. Only a few can enter, So, start thinking abt other colleges and also see them.
This is just my info to u all..

Part time with counseling is available only in Anna univ, but it s difficult for ur marks.
Do regular MBA or continue with ur job dude..
