Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates who wish to work on the role of mitochondrial proteins in initiating cell death and inflammatory pathways using high throughput cloning, siRNA and miRNA approaches.

Essential Qualifications: All the candidates should have first class MSc degree in Biological Sciences and experience in Molecular Biology for Project Assistant. Candidates having PhD in the area of Molecular and Cell Biology, experience of handling eukaryotic cells and in-depth understanding of inflammatory and cell death pathways will be considered for Research Associate position.

Desirable Qualifications: CSIR/DBT qualified candidates will be preferred for all the positions. Candidates having first author publication in international journal will be given preference for Research Associate position.

Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a three year DBT-sponsored project “Cloning and characterisation of efflux pumps responsible for multiple drug resistance in clinical isolates of various vibrio species” with Dr. Ashima Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor, Department of Human Health and Diseases, IIAR.


Position: Junior Research Fellow (One post)
Rs. 12,000 + HRA p.m (for 1st and 2nd year)

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology.
